I have seen a film named The Sea Inside, it's a spainish one.
I have heard about it some years, but have no chance to see it, last month, I saw it on the CCTV6,a film channel.
The Sea Inside is about Spaniard Ramon Sampedro, who fought a 30-year campaign to win the right to end his life with dignity. It's a true story in Spain.
A sentence,"扼制生命的自由不是真正的自由,扼制自由的生命不是真正的生命", makes me a deep impression.I don't know how to translate it, maybe I can say "We cannot be free without life, we cannot live without freedom."
Still, I remember the scenes in the film, Ramon drank the drink and died, without any words, silently and calmly. When I see some people die in the films, I am often pretty sad, but, this time, I am not. I know that Ramon has got what he is looking forward to.
A woman who fell in love with Ramon named Julia, she had promised to go to die with Ramon, but, finally, she didn't. And she lost her memory after Ramon died. Is it punishment to her? I don't think so, nobody can punish her bacause she wanted to live in the world. Maye she tried to escape from Ramon.
Actually, I like the film very very very much^^
Now, I am looking for the DVDs of The Big Blue, Eragon, and The Volvers.
